As another great MLB season starts to wind down, the pennant races start to heat up. After the five game sweep of Boston, it looks as if the “Evil Emipire” will once agian be in the playoffs. That leave three spots in the American League for about five teams. I am going to say it right now these three teams will be in the AL playoffs. The Detroit Tigers, the Oakland A’s, and the Minnesota Twins. Thats right the defending champs will NOT make it back to the playoffs this season. Think I am wrong? YOUR WRONG! GURU OUT!
You’re right Chiefs Fan, Ty Law will bring a champions mentality to the Chiefs that has not been there for a long time. The only problem is he also bring Old Legs. He is not as young as he was while winning the Super Bowl rings in NE and has a surgey or two under his belt since then too. You may wish to point out his career high 10 INT’s last season, but a good chunk of those came on tipped passes (7).   Enough about the negative, he will team up with Surtain to make one of the better cornerback combos in the league. The real problem for the Chiefs is on the interior of there D-line and back up running back. I will talk about that at a later time. The GURU is out !
When Kansas City made the decision to add Ty Law to thier defense they made a great decision.  Law’s talent and experience will help the Chiefs defense since Roaf isn’t coming back (we’ll see what happens after training camp). Ty Law will also bring a different type of attitude to the Chiefs - a Superbowl mentality. What do you think Ty Law will bring to the Chiefs this season?
